How the BatchSYNTH works

The Milestone BatchSYNTH is equipped with a vertically-mounted high pressure TFM reactor, with an array of advanced capabilities and safety features.
The reactor has a volume of 300 ml and operates at sustained temperatures up to 230°C and pressures up to 30 bar.
Fast cooling is obtained by an internal cooling finger and the reaction mixture homogeneity is ensured by a built-in magnetic stirrer.
Temperature and pressure are monitored directly by internal probes.
In addition, the reactor is fitted with gas exchange ports, to work under inert atmosphere. Reagents can be added via inlet/outlet valves, and the reaction mixture sampled during the run.
The system is controlled through an advanced PC embedded terminal.

Reactor cover with TFM top sealing and stainless steel cooling finger.	Flange complete with T and P sensors, inlet/outlet ports for purging and reagents addition, rupture disk, and cooling finger inlet/outlet.	Pressure vessel complete with TFM liner, and fiber-glass reinforced HTC safety shield.
